Update on the study. Very important to know that if you are pregnant (especially 3rd trimester), have recently delivered, or have been caring for a newborn and you feel depressed, are crying, are secretly wishing you never had the baby, feel incompetent, and generally miserable—- take yourself to your doctor and be screened for depression. Left untreated it can get worse, and often does. You don’t simply get over postpartum depression. It is NOT baby blues, which lasts a few days to a couple of weeks.
