In lieu of a personal reflection I thought I’d post an interview with Michael Phelps, Olympic swimmer who spent a career accumulating the most metals in the sport. Besides being very involved in water conservation and making swimming possible for those who can’t afford pursuing the sport, he has become open about his severe struggles with depression, including suicidal thoughts and treatment. He has some important things to say about the need to open up and get help. This interview is worth a read.
